Another discovery today: I found that I got bored of just making plain old, choc chip muffins. So with the other half of the cake mix I wanted to do something different with it. BUT I didn't have any "fun" ingredients at home (at that very moment anyways). I looked everywhere and came across a jar of white sugar and I thought to myself "what would happen if I were to sprinkle these on top of the mixture after I've spooned them into the moulds?" I didn't think too much and before I knew it, I was sprinkling spoonfuls of sugar on top. The result? A slightly crunchy and crusty texture on top! It was quite good. So I guess this accidental discovery came to use after all!
